Last weekend my brother and I had the pleasure of attending the Young Republicans Federation of California Convention at the beautiful Grand Vista Hotel in Simi Valley. Although not yet a registered member of the Young Republicans, I attended the event as an observer and as the Editor of the California Review. We had a great time meeting many other young republicans, along with hearing some excellent speakers, such as several individuals who have held public office or are currently running for it, the hilarious author of the book Ideological Bigotry, and former Miss California, Carrie Prejean (although she should be Miss USA) who was extremely engaging and personable. I want to thank the Ventura County Young Republicans for hosting the convention along with their having asked me to attend the event in order to document the occasion with my camera.
Below are the pictures I took for them at the convention:
I urge any conservative individuals between the ages of 18 and 40 to get involved in their local Young Republican chapter and get active in taking California back from the democrats!
